- UCSF ADMISSIONS WORKSHOP IN SF. There will be a half-day admissions workshop at UCSF open to any interested parties on 3/24/12 from 9am-1:30pm. The workshop will feature presentations on the process of applying to medical school and developing a competitive application, and the School of Medicine Post Baccalaureate Program. 2. UC STUDENT REGENT DAY. Meet the current UC Student Regent, and have an opportunity to discuss current UC issues and learn about the application process for the UC Student Regent position. Meet in Pacific Ballroom B on Feb. 2nd from 12pm-2pm. Lunch will be provided. The Student Regent serves a two-year term on the Regents of the UC and helps play a role in the advocacy of student needs. The role includes waived tuition, free parking on UC campuses, and professional development. 4. NASA DEVELOP INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. Call for Spring and Summer 2012 Interns. Work on Earth Science research projects, mentored by science advisors from NASA and partner agencies to extend research results to local communities.
